I gave it up all, the plush office, the Merc and Audi, the expensive champagne and holidays at exotic locations, the tuxedo and even my wedding ring. A day came when I realised I had it all but I was missing peace, inner contenmnt.
I started off on a new journey, all alone, sans the luxuries but at peace.
This was the story I cooked up before disappearing into oblivion after I blessed 2008 as the year of financial markets- “you will see very volatile waves I said. This year will be etched in your memory forever.” I wasn’t wrong.
I had made my kill and now I was on the path of Nirvana( peace)
Linking up with the amazing Priceless Joy, this week’s photo prompt is given by Dorothy, thanks for the picture Dorothy.

Please don’t remind me of 2008. As a fresh MBA graduate, the first word I learned was ‘subprime’ 😀 Very clever take, Akshata.

Ah, you missed the excitement of 2008, unfortunately I endured the long hours, the crazy Lehman weekend and all the panic that followed.

I witnessed many families returning back to India from UAE in that year. It was sad to say good bye to many good friends there. But few of them did return back in couple of years.
Good one Akshata!
