Mr Murray and his wife looked at each other, a twinkle in their eyes and a smile on their lips “We will take the house”, he said. “Thats great Mr &Mrs Murray but its my duty to warn you about this possessed tree- the weeping one it is called. Some say that saw ghosts floating around, a few have been swallowed by the tree.”
There was fear in the eyes now.”Lets not hurry , we will get back”.
Little Jonny giggled from behind the tree- his childhood buddy, the big papa tree was safely his and only his for now.

Clever boy. But he doesn’t know for a fact if the Murrays would harm the tree.

He seems too attached to the tree and doesn’t want to share it

I thought the tree looked ominous too – I would not be moving in there!

Dear Akshata,
Perhaps the Murrays should stick around and get to know Little Johnny. 😉 Cute story.

I thought the couple was talking to the agent. Was the whole conversation imagined ?

The couple was indeed talking to the agent. The little boy or ghost as you want to think of him is the one spreading rumours
