Here is why #BlogchatterA2Z will be a kickass campaign for my blog

My blogging journey began 3 years ago on a popular parenting website. My posts around parenting did well there and I soon moved on to writing on diverse topics and posting on other women centric and social issue focused platforms. I had little knowledge of digital marketing and blogging- coming from a totally different world of Finance.

I took a liking to Twitter and that’s when I came across this awesome community for bloggers “Blogchatter”.I started participating in their Micro Blogging Mondays which excites the micro fiction lover in me and Wednesday Tweet chat on various interesting and educative topics for bloggers.

My first campaign with Blogchatter was #MyFriendAlexa in 2017 and this was one of the most amazing experiences as a blogger. It opened the doors to so many new bloggers when I read their posts and interacted with them and it gave me new avenues to promote my own blog. I saw some great traffic and a significant move in my Alexa rank thanks to this campaign.

AtoZ Challenge 2018 is my first time and am I apprehensive? No. In fact I look forward to this with much anticipation. I know being in a demanding job it wont be easy as I hardly get time after 1 in the noon to glance at my phone on weekdays. Some days are so busy that loo breaks are also a luxury. Not kidding, it can get bad!

The mornings is all I have to myself but with a toddler at home, that cant really be used per my whims and fancies. April is when my 3 year old starts schooling so its not going to be easy. I plan to write my posts in advance, at least a few of them which gives me a good head start and I can use the days of the challenge to read, comment and interact with other writers – I read tis handy tip in one of my blogger friend Shalz’s post on AtoZ.

What I aspire to achieve for my blog- I have never doubted my abilities as a writer and I know where my niche is but a big challenge I face is getting my posts out there to a wider audience and making my voice heard. I feel this campaign and the fact that it is being run by Blog chatter is a splendid opportunity to bridge the gap I face. Bloggers from all over the world would be a part of this community event and what better way to get to know each other. I am keen to discover bloggers who share similar interests like me.

So this is going to be one hell of a rollercoaster but I do hope at the end of April, I will be glad I did this. A little birdie tells me “yes yes you will”

How can I miss calling out my dear blogger friends Aesha, Shipra, Shalz, Balaka who are taking part as well- cant miss the fun of doing this together.

      1. We will keep cheering each other…i am planning to prepare an excel sheet of bloggers who are taking the challenge..so that it becomes easy to visit…
