The cauldron #FFfAW Challenge

I saw her every morning as I jogged and passed by her strange creepy ensemble outside the park. Many pots lined up in a row with brightly coloured liquids simmering within, the concoction looked ominous. The old lady with tattoos all over her body, tattered clothes, unkempt hair, hunched nearby chanting something and calling out to Satan. “The day the pots are filled to the brim, you shall see a miracle. You shall all pay for your sins”she screamed. I looked away just like others.

Today was different I saw a crowd near her usual spot. The pots were full today and the old lady was missing.A stench emanated from the pots, some said the bones of people were in. Everyone was tensed. At that moment,a few reporters emerged from a hiding place. There was a lady among them impeccably dressed, who looked suave .”April fool” she screamed. This was part of a trick we were playing for our web series, she chuckled. She was the same old lady who had been putting up a show.We all let out a sigh of relief and smiled for the camera.
